| band camp started today with the freshman day. this year's going to be awesome! it's so much more flexible than last year since we rn't going to competitions. all i did today was go from group to group and check (aka hang out with) the section leaders and see how their groups were doing. being field commander is awesome!

| I'm bored. really bored. band starts in a little more than a week (yay something to do!). unfortunately according to rob the score for star wars isn't even done yet. i fixed my pop'n music controller so that gives me something to do. other than that all i've done is sleep, a lot. someone please give me something to do so i'm not bored all day but most friday afternoons. i usually go to laserweb on fridays, but last week no one could go, and this week everyone's on vacation. on a good note, i bought (am buying) antar's old tenor and a brand new mouthpiece and crap from him. now i don't have to deal with the broken school instruments and my old broken tenor mouthpiece!
P.S. the owner of laserweb's daughter told me that her brother's going to be in marching band (danny weber-percussion). just a random fact.

| WTF! i got my report card a couple of days ago. my grades were the highest i've had at st. x and it's second semester 4th quarter. they r as follows:
English 3: 89
Trig: 93
Spanish 3: 100
Morality: 91
Biology: 91 (AP exam TBA)
U.S.: 81
Wind Ensemble: 99
Overall: 92
i also saw my scores for the second time i took the SAT. my math and reading went up. Antar bought me a DVD R/RW drive. it works very well minus the stupid DVD writing program not working.
